Our ambition is to create impact in the healthcare and education sectors across the Middle East and North Africa region. Our team of seasoned advisers has over two decades of accumulated experience working for private sector and governments, globally.
We actively support clients who are either looking to venture into healthcare or education or already have exposure across these industries by bringing our deep industry knowledge and functional expertise to bear. Olea advisory is organized into two practice areas: Healthcare and Environmental Social & Governance (ESG).
The healthcare practice is industry focused and provides its services to clients ranging from healthcare providers to private investors, family offices and private equity.
The ESG practice is functionally focused, cutting across all industries and types of investors.
Olea’s incubation platform is primarily focused on building proprietary greenfield and brownfield healthcare businesses. With a core focus on the Wellness, Prevention and Primary Care sector of the healthcare value chain, Olea brings best-in-class partners and innovative technology together to realize new business opportunities.

Founder & Managing Director
Marc is the founder and Managing Director at Olea. Prior to that, Marc was a Senior Vice President at Mubadala Healthcare (MHC), where he led over a period of 7 years the development of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (CCAD) and Mubadala’s Abu Dhabi Telemedicine Centre (ADTC). Marc also worked at Booz Allen Hamilton.
Previously a Board Member of Medical Holding Company LLC, which oversees the governance of Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Healthpoint, National Reference Lab and Capital Health Screening.
Marc holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University in Canada and has an MBA from both Columbia University in New York and London Business School.
For the past 4 years, Sam has been General Manager of fast-growing Orion Health. Prior to that, Sam was Commercial Development Director at General Electric (GE), where he launched the EAGM regional Caradigm team on behalf of GE Healthcare IT. Before working with GE, Sam spent 5 years as the Business Development Director & MEA Strategy Lead for Microsoft Health Solutions Group, offering services to developing countries across the Middle East & Africa.
Previous roles include iSOFT IBA as Senior Clinical Product Specialist and Cerner as a Business Development Solution Specialist where he was involved in closing the BT London project which was worth in excess of $400M.
Sam‘s education is in Engineering and Physical Science in Medicine at the prominent Imperial College of Medicine in London
For the last two years, Tania was Head of ESG at Abraaj, managing sustainability and impact measurement and reporting for a portfolio of ~US$ 13 billion in AUM. Prior to that, Tania was an ESG Specialist at International Finance Corporation (IFC). She also worked as a Senior Project Manager for Environmental Resources Management (ERM).
Previously a member of the Emerging Market Private Equity Association (EMPEA) ESG Community Steering Committee and of the Invest Europe Responsible Investment Roundtable. She recently co-authored a publication with EMPEA titled "Private Equity's Role in Delivering the UN Sustainable Development Goals".
Tania is a Chevening Scholar and holds an MSc in Environmental Management from Oxford Brookes University and a BA in Geography and Environmental Science from McGill University.
